IBC 2015: Prototype PL Lenses and Native MFT Anamorphot Lenses from SLR Magic

The new kid on the block among the cinema lens manufacturers SLR Magic are about to showcase a new set of prototype PL ANAMORPHOT-CINE 1.33x lenses along with MFT ANAMORPHOT-CINE 2x lenses on this year’s International Broadcasting Convention(IBC) taking place in Amsterdam. The SLR Magic PL glass will consist of 35mm T2.4 1.33X, 50mm T2.8 1.33X, and 70mm T4 1.33X lenses costing $2,499, $2,999 and $2,999 respectively.

The company will also unveil MFT ANAMORPHOT-CINE lenses, that will not only provide native support for the MFT camera systems, but they will feature 2x squeeze factor, thus being the perfect fit for the Panasonic GH4 and its 4:3 aspect ratio recording capabilities. The SLR Magic ANAMORPHOT-CINE 35mm T2.4 2x, SLR Magic ANAMORPHOT-CINE 50mm T2.8 2x and SLR Magic ANAMORPHOT-CINE 70mm T4 2x will also retail for $2,499, $2,999 and $2,999 respectively.
