We are Vlady Radev and Ogy Stoilov. We are filmmakers, who shot their respective micro-budget feature film debuts with their own hard earned cash (which was very little) and a small crew. We have been shooting music videos, corporate work, documentaries, and feature films for the past five years. We don’t claim to be experts in anything.

We are learning along the way, and try to get better and better at what we do, project after project. Recently, we came up with an idea to create a community of fellow filmmakers. Up until now, shooting in resolutions higher than 1080p, was cost prohibitive for many of us. This is not the case anymore.

And this is how 4K Shooters was born. We feel that 4K will be the next standard for professional video and our goal is to master the new tools, so we can tell our stories better.

The aim of 4KShooters.net is to bring you not only the latest news, reviews, and insights in the world of 4K cameras, 4K workflow and 4K delivery, but to also to share our own filmmaking experience with the millions of shooters out there. We hope you find our posts about 4K cameras, monitors, 4K TV’s and other 4K gadgets exciting and useful. Whether you are primarily a shooter, or an editor, director, or a producer, or you simply love new technology and shoot for fun, we have you covered here at 4KShooters.net.

We hope you’ll join us on our 4K journey and share your stories and experiences with us.

The posts on 4KShooters.net  are solely our own opinion. Should we feature a review where the gear reviewed was not our own, but provided by someone else – either a manufacturer or a reseller, we’d let you know by disclosing it in the review.

From time to time you may see ads appear on the site either on banners or in the form of affiliate links, or sponsored posts. Should you click on an affiliate link and buy a product we may get a small commission, at absolutely no additional cost to you. Such ad revenue helps us run and maintain the site. All sponsors, affiliate sites, and/or sponsored posts will be disclosed in each post with an ethics disclaimer at the bottom.

We created 4KShooters.net to share our own views and opinions, as well as help out fellow filmmakers by creating a truly Global 4K Community of like-minded creative individuals. We believe the whole is bigger than the sum of its parts. We hope you find our posts, podcasts, and other content helpful and/or interesting and worthy of sharing.

We’re not paid by or affiliated/owned by any camera/gear manufacturer and serve no agenda. We are a team of independent filmmakers who are fully committed to sharing, creating and reporting incredible content and newsworthy happenings from the world of 4K filmmaking including professional cinema, broadcast industry and online video universe.
