Atomos has enabled Apple ProRes RAW recording from the LUMIX S1 with the latest firmware update AtomOS 10.63 for the Ninja V. When combined with the latter, the full-frame LUMIX S1 will be capable of recording up to 5.9K ProRes RAW.
To unlock this functionality, the Panasonic S1 users will also need to update their camera to firmware v2.0 and purchase the DMW-SFU2 upgrade software key. This code unlocks a range of advanced video functions to further expand on the video performance of the full-frame S1 mirrorless camera including the Raw output capabilities when combined with the Ninja V.
