Nanlite has recently announced the Forza 150B Bi-Color LED Spotlight. The chip on board (COB) led light is coming in hot with a compact form factor and an adjustable correlated color temperature range (CCT) of 2700-6500K.
“Every NANLITE product has been developed with professionals in mind,” says NANLITE Managing Director Nancy Zheng, “The Forza 150B is no exception. The ultimate goal is always to make life easier for them with every new product joining our expanding lineups.”
The Forza 150B is a bi-color light, meaning that it can be adjusted between both tungsten balanced and daylight balanced modes. The light also has 12 built-in light effects, and support for wireless Bluetooth, WiFi, and DMX systems.
The fixture is adjustable from 1-100% and has a LUX rating of 23130 at full power from one meter using the attached reflector. The light also enjoyed a CRI/TLCI rating of 96 and 98.

Built of a metal alloy and carbon fiber, the Forza 150B is lightweight without sacrificing strength. It has a small LCD screen on the back and two adjustment knobs for making color temperature, lighting effects, and fan control adjustments.
The twelve built-in practical effects include Pulse, Storm, Paparazzi, TV Glow, Candle or fire, CCT Loop, INT Loop, Flash, bad bulb, fireworks, explosions, and welding. The effects are fully adjustable for intensity, color temperature, and speed levels.
With 2.4 GHz Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity, the Forza 150B is also remotely adjustable through the Nanlite Nanlink App or connected to DMX/RDM systems through the onboard 3.5mm wired connector.

Powerwise, the Forza 150B accepts a standard AC connection, or the light can be driven by the optional 14.8v-26v V-mount battery grip for situations that require the light to move with the subject.
The light also has standard GM and Bowen’s mount connections with an adapter for adding light modifiers such as soft boxes, barn doors, and umbrellas.

The preorder price of the Nanlite Forza 150B is $539, but there’s no word on when the light will actually ship.
