Amaran has launched a new video light for mobile devices that promises to be both brighter and easier to attach to a smartphone for instant low-light shooting.
The Amaran Go is an ultra-compact, MagSafe-compatible video light featuring a flip up two-way mini LED projection, designed for quick mounting that allows for fast recording in dim conditions.

Designed to attach securely to mobile devices via the iPhone’s MagSafe connection point, the Amaran Go offers compact and lightweight ultra-bright illumination for low-light video situations.
Its quick flip feature enables two-way lighting for both front and rear cameras, making it ideal for filming selfies, interviews, and more, while easily collapsing to illuminate the rear camera when needed.
This light generates illumination of up to 228 lux or 200 lumens from its 1-watt power output, boasting a CRI rating of 96, a TLCI rating of 99, and an SSI Tungsten rating of 83.
Its color temperature ranges from 2700 to 6500 K.

The Go features ten different lighting modes and brightness settings controlled through the Amaran or SidusLink app. It can operate for up to nine hours at 10% brightness or just under two hours at 100% on a single charge.
Users can adjust both brightness and color temperature to achieve various lighting styles, making it suitable for extended live streaming, thanks to its long-lasting 800mAh, 2.96Wh rechargeable battery, which takes approximately 70 minutes to charge using a 5V/1A charger.
