Adobe has released a summer update to Creative Cloud aimed at streamlining the process from concept to final delivery.
This update leverages AI to help users create better storyboards in Firefly, enhance photos in Lightroom and Photoshop, and remove distracting glass reflections that hinder achieving the perfect image.

For video content creators, Creative Cloud now offers a new space for idea development and storyboard creation, utilizing generative AI to produce videos and animatics.
The Firefly Boards space enables production teams to collaborate effectively during pre-production, allowing them to refine projects before filming.
By using image model data from partners such as Google, OpenAI, Black Forest Labs, and new collaborators like Luma AI, Runway, and Ideogram, users can quickly iterate ideas, moving seamlessly from sketches to models to animations without needing to log into third-party accounts.
Moreover, users will find clear labels indicating the source of each model included in their projects.

Adobe Illustrator users can now benefit from a new tool called Generative Expand.
This feature allows users to extend storyboards and graphics beyond their original boundaries while maintaining the style, color, and detail of the existing image.
It remains fully editable and non-destructive, enabling content creators to experiment with different aspect ratios while generating additional backgrounds to fill in any gaps.
The update also enhances rendering speed, making it up to five times faster while providing greater smoothness and eliminating blue lines.
It includes an improved pencil tool with a live preview, allowing users to see their strokes as they draw, resulting in a more natural and intuitive workflow.

In Photoshop, Camera Raw, and Adobe Lightroom, the update introduces powerful tools for fine-tuning images and removing distracting elements, such as unwanted reflections.
The Reflection Removal feature, which debuted earlier this year in Adobe Camera Raw, is now available in Adobe Lightroom, supporting non-raw images and various formats.
This AI-driven feature detects and removes unwanted reflections from glass without altering the overall image.
Users can adjust the correction strength with a slider to maintain some reflection if desired.
Additionally, the Generative Remove tool can detect and remove unwanted subjects, like people in the background.
These new tools are accessible in Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Lightroom on mobile (both iOS and Android), Lightroom for the web, and Adobe Camera Raw.
Finally, Adobe Lightroom’s new Quick Action Tool allows creatives to make swift edits on the go, including scene enhancements and retouching.
This update enables users to detect outdoor elements such as the sky, water, and ground, applying isolated edits to each without affecting the rest of the image, which is ideal for improving the appearance of the sky or adjusting reflections in the water.
These updates are now available through the Adobe Creative Cloud interface.
