“The Quantum Dot OLED panel is truly stunning, and we listened to our users who wanted more flexibility,” says Matt Eidenbock, Product Manager for SmallHD.

“The Quantum 27 offers the same incredible image quality as the Quantum 32 but in a more manageable size, making it easier to deploy multiple units and expedite on-set decision-making.”

Utilizing Samsung’s Quantum Dot OLED display technology, the Quantum 27 delivers 4K image quality with a contrast ratio exceeding 1,000,000:1 and HDR 10-bit color, similar to its larger counterpart.

Its compact form factor makes it ideal for use on set or in the confined space of a post-production cubicle. The display emits narrow-spectrum RGB light with uniform luminance and achieves an overall brightness of 1,000 nits.

It also offers 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut and a viewing angle of up to 60 degrees.

Optimized for on-set video villages, the Quantum 27 includes a handle for easy transport and stable feet for secure placement while in use.

It features a universal VESA mount for attachment to a monitor arm, along with ARCA rails on the back for versatile mounting options.

The monitor is equipped with hard-button dials for tactile control and multiple connectivity options, including HDMI 2.0 inputs and 12G-SDI I/O ports.

You can power it through various input connections, such as a 3-pin 310W XLR connector or two 2-pin LEMO connections.

Additionally, it offers either a USB-C output or USB-A, with options for adding 26V Gold and V-Mount battery brackets for increased mobility.

SmallHD’s PageOS serves as the operating system for the Quantum 27, providing an intuitive user interface along with adjustment tools like EL Zone, Waveform, and Vectorscope.

It includes a single SD card slot for loading multiple 3D LUTs, an RJ45 Ethernet connection, and a GPI port.

  • Wi-Fi adapter support for wireless monitor control
