Insta360 pushes the boundaries of camera technology by introducing the compact Go Ultra pocket camera, leveraging advancements from their ACE and X lines of action cameras.
This new model features a sensor that is over 220% larger than those in previous Go models, allowing it to capture sharp 4K video at 40 frames per second with reduced noise and improved brightness, especially in low-light conditions.

Unlike the pill-like design of the Go 3, the Ultra adopts a square shape while still delivering impressive image quality day and night.
At its core, the Insta360 Go Ultra includes a 1/1.28” CMOS sensor combined with a 5nm AI chip, enabling users to capture ultra-smooth and clear 4K video at up to 60 frames per second, as well as 1080p video at up to 240 frames per second.
The camera features a 14.27mm lens with an aperture of F2.85.
Users can go live via Bluetooth to a smartphone or monitor the feed from the standalone Insta360 Action Pod, which includes a flip-up 2.5” touchscreen.

In addition to video, the Go Ultra allows users to capture still images at up to 50MP. Insta360’s PureVideo AI algorithms enhance video quality, making the Ultra competitive with other pocket cameras on the market.
Weighing just 53 grams and roughly the size of a smartwatch, the Go Ultra features a magnetic base that attaches easily to any magnetic surface.
Insta360 provides various accessories, including a next-generation pendant magnet design, sticky tabs for versatile mounting, and a Toddler Titan Cap for capturing fun angles with kids. The camera can dive up to 33 feet (10 meters) underwater thanks to its IPX8 waterproof rating.
The Go Ultra offers approximately 70 minutes of battery life, which expands to over 200 minutes when paired with the Action Pod. Its high-speed charging system allows users to charge the battery to 80% in just 12 minutes.
The camera connects seamlessly to the Insta360 app (available on iOS and Android) for uploading clips and editing. It also features a microSD card slot that supports up to 2TB of storage for full-resolution archival backup.

The Insta360 Go Ultra Pocket Camera retails for $449.99 for the standard bundle, available in Midnight Black or Arctic White.
