Godox has introduced two new additions to its portable LED lineup – the ML80Bi and ML150Bi– offering high-output, bi-color lighting in compact, cable-free designs.
The company says the new fixtures deliver up to ten times the brightness of comparable lights in their class, targeting creators who need professional lighting performance in the field without the constraints of power cords.

Performance and Output
At the heart of both models are high-performance COB LED arrays with a 2800K- 5800K color temperature range, enabling warm-to-daylight balance for flexible shooting conditions.
The ML80Bi produces up to 29,600 lux at 5600K from one meter, while the larger ML150Bi achieves an impressive 61,504 lux when paired with the ML-Z zoom reflector – figures that put both fixtures squarely in competition with larger, studio-based LED systems.
Each light offers CRI and TLCI ratings of 96, ensuring accurate color reproduction, and both support 0–100% dimming via onboard controls or the Godox Light app.

Power and Portability
The ML80Bi and ML150Bi lights are designed for true mobility and can operate completely without cables using the Godox ML-BA battery, providing over an hour of full-output illumination.
For longer sessions, the lights are compatible with V-Mount or NP-F battery adapters, allowing users to utilize batteries they may already have.
Additionally, users can connect an optional AC adapter for studio applications.
This modular battery system, along with the lightweight, cable-free design, minimizes setup time and reduces tripping hazards, making it ideal for run-and-gun shoots or compact studio setups.

Mounting and Modularity
Both models are fully compatible with the Godox Mount ecosystem, supporting a variety of accessories that magnetically attach to the ML-Z reflector, including stackable diffusers and layered diffusion panels.
These allow users to fine-tune light softness, create custom shapes, or even add bokeh-style background effects, all while maintaining fast on-set adaptability.

Control and Connectivity
The fixtures support wireless NFC-based connectivity for quick pairing and control through the Godox Light app.
The ML150Bi goes further with DMX support, making it a solid choice for studio and broadcast environments where precision and synchronization are critical.
