The RØDE NT-USB Mini is the latest entry in RODE Microphones’ lineup featuring sleek and compact design, directional cardioid pickup pattern and an integrated 360-degree swing mount.
With its smooth frequency response and high-quality condenser capsule with RF shielding and excellent capsule isolation, the unit can be used in a wide variety of applications such as conference calls, music recording, podcasts, live streaming, or on any other occasion where capturing high-quality audio is an essential prerequisite.
Just like the original NT-USB, the Mini is simple and easy to set up and use. Compatible with any PC or Mac, you just need to plug the device in with the included Type-A to Type-C USB cable and you’re all set. The body of the newcomer is made from hard-wearing steel and reinforced nylon resin for the swing mount.
The integrated swing arm, on the other hand, mounts magnetically to the desk stand making it fast to set up. In fact, you can use any standard microphone stand or boom arm utilzing the 3/8″ thread on the swing arm.
The NT-USB Mini boasts a studio-quality 24-bit, 48KHz A/D conversion along with a studio-grade headphone amplifier with a 3.5mm headphone output.
What’s more, you can press the volume knob to set the mic to send the audio directly to the output for zero-latency monitoring which is critical when recording vocals or voiceovers thus removing any echo or latency in the monitoring.
