The mighty ARRI ALEXA Mini LF just became a more versatile tool than ever with the latest Software Update Package 7.0. The camera can now shoot in a wide variety of Super 35 recording modes along with a few additional large format modes as well. Other than that, three of the four Super 35 recording formats offer higher frame rates than the ALEXA Mini, while the new large-format recording formats deliver the large format look with a significantly reduced data rate (HD or UHD recording).
This makes the ALEXA Mini LF not only an enticing option for large format productions, but also for those content creators who prefer to shoot in arguably the most popular format for feature films, drama series, and commercials without the need to trade off the pristine image quality and compact form factor that the camera is so well known for.
