Venus Optics has just announced the Argus 25mm f/0.95 MFT APO. The latest addition to the APO lineup of affordable lenses is specifically designed for Micro 4/3 cameras such as the Pocket 4K and Panasonic GH6. The unit is made out of metal and accepts 62mm threaded filters.
The optical construction of the Laowa Argus 25mm f/0.95 MFT APO consists of 14 elements in 8 groups with 1 aspherical lens, 1 piece of ED glass, and 3 pieces of UHR glass. Apparently, it has a maximum aperture of f/0.95 along with outstanding optical performance, internal focusing, and low focus breathing.

The Extra-low Dispersion Glass, Aspherical Lens, and Ultra High Refraction Glass of the lens are claimed to not only offer sharp and crispy images but also minimize chromatic aberration.
Additionally, the Argus 25mm f/0.95 has an internal focus design which results in low focus breathing and also prevents dust from falling into the lens. The unit weighs in at 570g / 1.25 lb and has a very long 300° focus throw.
