Hollyland has announced the Mars 4K UHD Wireless video transmission system. The system includes the Mars M1 transceiver monitor, which functions as an all-in-one wireless solution for live streaming video to the cloud, as well as the Mars 4K transmitter.

The Mars M1 wireless monitor provides low latency and a super bright 1000 nit 5.5-inch touch screen LCD, supporting Reec 709 color gamut, professional color calibration, and temperature adjustment, and comes with five 3D LUT preset files.
The monitor has a range of 450 feet line of sight, with a latency of .08 seconds, and has a user-friendly UI design.

Capable of supporting 4K video at 30 frames per second, the monitor design has disassembly-free bullet-styled antennas, HDMI in and out, SDI input, and DC power for external devices.
There are auxiliary functions for 4X zoom, focus and exposure assist, and waveform tools. The Mars M1 can also be connected via a USB-C interface and offers DC and USB-C power options.
The M1 connects directly to the Mars 4K Wireless video transmission system, which can connect up to two receivers or four mobile devices with the app installed.
The app installed allows a maximum of four parties (such as the director, producer, light control personnel, and audio personnel) on the site to monitor the shooting at the same time.

The transmission system supports has a dual-core codec chip that is capable of processing 4K video at up to 30 frames per second, while the HDMI supports 4K, 1080p and 720p formats.
Additional frame rates include 23.98, 29.97, and 59.94, while the system is capable of supporting data rates of between 8MbPS to 20 Mbps. 12 Mpbs is the detail setting. The transmission range is 450 feet (150 m) with a latency as low as .06 seconds.

The Mars 4K is wrapped in corrosion and wear-resistant material and is built with an aluminum die-cast structure. The Mars 4K also has a tiny TFT touchscreen display and a rocker-style four-way joystick for making on-site adjustments.
The display also provides status details like battery life and signal strength.
The retail price of the Mars 4K UHD Wireless video transmission system is $699 and comes with one transmitter and one receiver. The Mars M1 wireless video monitor has an MSRP of $549.
