NanLite Unveils NextGenForza II and Pavotube II XR LED Lights

Nanlite has hit the market again with a new generation of RGB LED lights. The PavoTube II XR and Forza II RGBWW LEDs are designed for more consistent illumination, with a wider color gamut for adjustable color rendition and temperature settings.

What makes these new lights stand out from the previous generation is the fixtures can adjust the CCT with green and magenta tuning and full HSI color control. And they can do it wirelessly using a built-in CRMX Lumennd Radio wireless DMX controller.

Added to the already available 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth connections, the native DMX control interface will enable the lighting fixtures to be more seamlessly integrated into an established DMX ecosystem with no additional hardware required.

The PavoTube II XR

The PavoTube II XR lights are CRI and TLCI rated 97 and 98 respectively, for color accuracy and wide color temperature illumination. The output is rated at 337 Lux at 3.3 feet and 5600 Kelvin.

They operate in the CCT color range of between 2700-12,000K CCT with full spectrum RGB Mode.

Multiple practical lighting effects include hue loop, CCT loop, INT loop, CCT flash, hue flash, CCT pulse, hue pulse, storm, police car, TV, paparazzi, candle, fire, disco, bad bulb, firework, explosion, and welding.

The effects can also be adjusted at the pixel level using hue loop, CCT loop, INT loop, multicolor, gradient, scrolling, marching, flame, rainbow, and driving effects settings.

The PavoTube II XR is built from upgraded metal housings which promise to be robust out in the field or in the studio where lighting is required in positions that may require a risky placement.

There is a set of T12 clips that provide vertical and horizontal mounting options. There are also three 1/4-20” tripod mount options incorporated all around the light housing.

Attaching the included 55° reflector, an output of up to 69,400 Lux at 3.3 feet can be achieved.

Moreover, the Forza 300 II offers the same green-magenta adjustment as the PavoTube II and a CCT color temperature range of up to 5600K.

When adding an optional FL-20G Freznel and barn doors, that light output can climb to over 197,000 lux.

By contrast, the bi-color Forza 500 II LED Spot has an output of 67,320 Lux at 3.3 feet, with a CCT range of 2700-6500K, and the same green-magenta adjustment options. The CR/TLCI rating is listed as 96 and 97 respectively.

The Forza 500II also offers twelve built-in customizable lighting effects that can be saved as presets using the Nanlink lighting app. The Green-Magenta adjustment setting can also tweak color gradients by +/- 80 to ensure color matching and correction.

The Forza II also has four fan modes including Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed, and Full Off mode for those quiet takes. The light is fully dimmable from 0-100% and also operates at 15% maximum output when turned off.

The Forza II lights also offer control via Bluetooth with the free Nanlink app on both iOS and Android, plus 2.4 GHz wifi for use with the optional handheld remote or transmitter box. Users can plug into a lockable DMX port for advanced control in the DMX ecosystem.

The Forza II offers different power options as well, including easy access side battery plates for V-mount batteries, and AC power connectivity.
