ZHIYUN has released a new, compact COB video light that, despite an ultra-slim design, stays relatively cool during use.
The Molus X 100 RGB spotlight offers vibrant full-color RGB performance and an impressive brightness of 12,600 LUX – quite remarkable for a light about the size of an iPhone.
Co-designed with filmmaker Cam Mackey, the Molus X 100 RGB is the thinnest 100W RGB spotlight in its category.

It features a heat sink that’s under 2cm thick, a total body thickness of 3cm, and weighs only 384g (13.55 oz). Its innovative DynoVort Cooling System ensures noise-free heat dissipation.

Despite its slim profile, the X 100 RGB provides the brightness of a key light with a wide color range.
It has a color temperature between 2500 and 10,000 Kelvin and becomes five times brighter when paired with its reflector, matching the output of spotlights up to 500 watts.
Impressively, it retains high color accuracy, boasting a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of around 95 and a TLCI of about 97.
The X 100 RGB is compatible with ZHIYUN’s X ecosystem of professional-grade lighting modifiers.
These include Mini 4-leaf barn doors for easy light shaping, a Spotlight Attachment with adjustable focus, and the Softbox 40D for soft lighting and enhanced color rendering.
Additional mini light modifiers are available through the light’s ZY mount, and it also supports Bowens mount options for more versatility.

When using the detachable 55.08 Wh battery grip, the X 100 RGB can run at full power for up to 34 minutes.
It supports PD fast charging and can connect to a DC adapter for longer, continuous lighting sessions.

The X 100 RGB ensures even light distribution, a feature essential for professional video work.
It delivers a focused beam with adjustable color temperature and can be controlled via Bluetooth and wireless connections to the ZY Vega App, allowing for real-time remote dimming.
