Atomos has just announced the all-new Ninja TX, a next-generation monitor-recorder in the flagship Ninja lineup.
With a compact form factor and improved thermal efficiency, the Ninja TX has been completely redesigned for camera-to-cloud applications and high-speed performance.
“This is the most advanced and capable Ninja we’ve ever built,” said Peter Barber, Atomos CEO. “While it may look similar at first glance, the Ninja TX is re-engineered from the ground up. There’s nothing carried over from previous models.”

The Ninja TX is capable of capturing 8K at 30 frames per second (fps) in RAW video format.
It can store original camera files on Type B CF Express media storage while simultaneously uploading those files to the cloud, thanks to 20GB of ATOMOSphere storage.
Creators can also upload footage directly to Frame.io, Dropbox, and other camera-to-cloud services, as well as stream live using NDI 6/HX3 connections. This enables real-time collaboration and delivery anywhere in the world.

Featuring a super bright 5-inch touchscreen, the Ninja TX displays minute details at 1500 nits—over 50% brighter than previous Ninja models.
It is packed with professional monitoring features, including EL ZONE™ false color, focus peaking, waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope, and more, helping creators fine-tune framing, exposure, color, and sharpness.

The Ninja TX includes 12G-SDI connectivity, along with HDMI 2.0 support, WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth, with time code synchronization via Atomos AirGlu.
Atomos also offers support for all major recording codecs, which are pre-activated in the box.
Users can capture in Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW, Avid DNx, and H.265/H.264 formats, with a wide range of resolutions and frame rates up to 120 fps for HD, 60 fps for 4K, and 30 fps for 8K.
Maintaining an efficient cooling system, the Ninja TX operates quietly for on-set use.
It features dual USB-C ports for connections to external drives and devices, including calibration tools, all while ensuring no dropped frames.
The Ninja TX also supports NDI 6/HX3 TX/RX streaming.
