At IBC 2018, TV Logic are showcasing their latest F-7H offering that has been touted as the world’s brightest Full HD 7-inch field production monitor you can currently get.
The unit sports a 7-inch LCD display with native resolution of 1920×1080 and supports a wide variety of professional features such as waveform, vectorscope, audio level meters, focus assist, range error, timecode display, various aspect ratio and markers, 3D LUT import, camera logs alongside HDR emulation including HDR EOTFs for PQ, HLG, and SLog3.
Besides that, the model provides SDI/HDMI cross conversion with its SDI input/ output and HDMI input/ output interfaces. The F-7H also has a solid and light milled aluminum chassis weighing only 760g. The slim, all-in-one design allows for multiple conﬁgurations with threaded holes on the right, left, top and bottom sides for ﬂexible mounting options on or near the camera.
The on-camera monitor can be powered either via a DC connector or through various battery-mounting plates that can be mounted directly to the back of the unit. There’s also a hard-coated filter panel that is used to protect the LCD screen from stains and scratches.
On the top of the unit, you’ll find a menu key and scroll wheel button alongside three function buttons for fast access to frequently used functions. There’s also a USB port for firmware updates and color calibration fitted to the bottom of the monitor.
