High brightness, or daylight-viewable monitors in other words, are all the rage these days in the on-camera monitor segment. The Ikan Saga S7H-V2 offers a modern, slim design, and has enough real-estate thanks to its 7-inch high bright panel and offers versatile connectivity thanks to the HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs and outputs as well as loop-through.
The S7H-V2 supports both Ultra HD (3840×2160) as well as DCI 4K (4096×2160) via the HDMI ports. The monitor also comes packed with various pro monitoring features such as 1:1 pixel mapping, false colour, peaking, and custom 3D LUT support.
The S7H-V2 includes a dual Sony NP-F L-series battery plate and can use two batteries at a time for extended run time.
