The HiPock cage is another sleek-looking, Italian supercar inspired innovative LockCircle cage designed to fit like a glove around the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K camera featuring an Asymmetrical Design Approach for right hand camera ergonomic control.
As with the other latest LockCircle cages, the HiPock cage is totally modular, allowing users to adjust and build up the cage kit to fit their budget and style of filming. The design aesthetics follows the innovative Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K curves with style for a more streamlined and organically shaped form-factor, combined with some serious engineering and rugged build quality thanks to the CNC-machined billet aircraft grade aluminium construction.
The slim profile helps keep the weight low, while the rugged aluminium construction ensures the cage retains professional heavy-duty grade strength. Available in black or yellow gold colour schemes, the HiPock cage has undergone a high-quality deep organic anodizing process with professional grade velvet surface finish for smooth handling.

LockCircle have positioned their HiPock cage system to be configurable in various stages in a systematic approach that users can tailor to their liking. Starting with just the Minimal Top Plate at $99/€89 + VAT and then build up from there by adding a Top Handle, Cold Shoe mounts, BoomBooster action grip handles all the way to a complete wraparound System Cage.
Adding a cold shoe on top of the Minimal Top plate is a good idea, since the Blackmagic Pocket 4K comes with none. The HiPock integrates the MultiPort for secure connectors locking HDMI/USB-C/headphone and microphone mini-jacks, and its design allows for easy mounting to pro grade mounting plates with PL Mounts integration for more high-end cine setups.
The LockCircle HiPock camera baseplate has a adjustable mounting receiver for Metabones adapter support, a Novo-Block for Novoflex mounts integration, and a IMS-Block for high grade professional PL mount, or Canon EF, Nikon F, Panavision, Leica R, Leica M mounts.
