Those of you owning the Sony a1 camera can now download Film Convert’s Camera Pack designed specifically for this camera model. The Sony α1 is the top-of-the-line mirrorless camera that was announced at the beginning of 2021, featuring the highest performing CMOS sensor capable of shooting 50MP at 30fps in stills mode.
In video mode, the new image sensor and BIONZ XR engine in the α1 deliver 8K (7680×4320) 30p movie recording capability, with full real-time tracking and real-time Eye AF functionality. In 4K, you can shoot full 4:2:2 10-bit for outstanding color rendition and grading flexibility. Finally, for the ultimate in high-quality recording, the α1 allows 16-bit RAW output to an external recorder via HDMI while recording 4K to internal card media.

To recap, FilmConvert includes dedicated camera packs that increase the color accuracy of the film match to your footage. The camera packs work inside the FilmConvert plugin software. They cannot be loaded into your camera, but you can use the plugin software to export a LUT with your color settings to use in-camera if you wish.
