TTArtisan has launched a new wide-angle cinema prime lens featuring an innovative capability.
The TTArtisan 35mm T2.1 Dual Bokeh Cine Lens enables filmmakers to create two distinct styles of bokeh: a soft, standard bokeh and a bubble-like effect for a dreamier look.

With a T2.1 aperture setting, the TTArtisan 35mm T2.1 Dual Bokeh Cine Lens offers a super shallow depth of field, enhancing its performance in low-light conditions.
The lens incorporates a declicked aperture with an 11-bladed design, which not only delivers a smooth, round bokeh but also produces a spherical bubble-like presentation in bubble mode.
Filmmakers can select between the standard soft bokeh, similar to a soft focus filter, and the built-in switch to activate “bubble mode,” which creates a dreamy, floating bubble bokeh in the background.
Each mode features a different minimum focusing distance: the soft mode has a minimum focusing distance (MFD) of 11.02 inches, while bubble mode offers an MFD of 0.55m (21.65 inches).
This difference also influences the focusing throw of the lens, with soft mode allowing a throw of 313 degrees and bubble mode having a tighter 131 degrees.

Optically, this full-frame cine lens comprises 10 elements arranged in 7 groups and provides an angle of view of 63 degrees. Additional features include a .8 gear pitch mod and a filter diameter of 82mm.
Constructed with aircraft-grade aluminum, the lens measures between 79-83mm (3.1 to 3.3 inches), depending on the lens mount, and has a weight between 670 to 735 grams (23.6 to 25.9 ounces).

The lens is compatible with five different mounts: E-Mount, Fuji X Mount, Nikon Z Mount, Canon RF Mount (note that there is no autofocus), and the L-Mount from the L-Mount Alliance, which supports cameras from Blackmagic, Panasonic, Leica, and Sigma.
