It’s a new month, and Panasonic have just released the first firmware update for their 4K Panasonic GH4. The new firmware update version 1.1 for currently available for download from Panasonic (for both PC and Mac).
Firmware 1.1 improves the “reliability of video recording performance” on the GH4 according to Panasonic.
At the moment the above improvement is the only update included in firmware 1.1, however as the GH4 gets into more hands, bugs and issue may come about, which will probably be addressed in future firmware versions.
It may seem like not much of an update, but still it shows that Panasonic are committed to supporting their GH line of cameras, and especially the GH4 as their first so-called “hybrid” model for stills and video. At 4KShooters.net we will keep you updated with news about future updates on the GH4 as new details get release by Panasonic.
