Fujifilm Release Firmware Update 2.0 for Fuji X-T3 and Fuji X-H1 Hybrid 4K Mirrorless Cameras

Fujifilm have been making serious inroads into the world of hybrid 4K videography for some time now with their compact mirrorless cameras such as the X-T2, and more recently the Fujifilm X-T3 and X-H1 cameras.

Earlier this week, Fuji released a series of free firmware updates for the X-T3 and X-H1 cameras. Firmware version 2.0 is highly anticipated especially from X-T3 owners due to the promised 4GB file recording limit removal upgrade, which unfortunately has been postponed for this release, but XH1 users do get it with this firmware update.

Other notable additions include 4K HDR recording in the form of HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) one of the formats defined in the ITU-R BT.2100 international standards, and simultaneous output of Film Simulation via HDMI while recording in F-Log internally among other new features.
