DJI RS2 & RSC2 Now Support Pocket 6K Pro, Leica SL2, SL2-S Cameras and Much More

It seems that DJI is listening closely to its customers since the company has just released firmware updates for its flagship Ronin gimbals the RS2 and RSC2 bringing support to some popular cameras in the community. With this new software, DJI adds extra compatibility with the Pocket 6K Pro, Leica SL2, and SL2-S.

The DJI RS2 and RSC2 will also get native ActiveTrack support for the Panasonic S1, S1R, S1H, and S5. Other noteworthy features include a dedicated Steadicam mode, optimized rotational speed when calibrating focus motor, reduced focus motor noise, added photo capture for Sony α7S III and α7 C cameras using a Multi-Camera Control Cable, and much more. DJI RS 2 Firmware v01.04.00.00 Highlights

  • Added photo capture for Sony α7S III and α7 C cameras using a Multi-Camera Control Cable (USB-C).
  • Added photo capture, video recording, camera settings, autofocus, and focus pull support for Sony α1 and FX3 cameras with supported Sony E mount lenses using a Multi-Camera Control Cable (USB-C). To use autofocus on the Sony α1 and FX3 cameras, press halfway down on the camera control button of the gimbal.
