It didn’t take Smallrig very long to crank out some useful accessories for the recently announced Sony A6700 mirrorless camera, and while they were at it, they made some supporting gear for the ZV-E1 camera as well.
The accessories offered include a full cage, half cage, baseplate, and cold shoe mount, amongst other offerings, and with up to 15 percent off, users can get some pretty good deals. Let’s take a closer look.

Sony A6700 Accessories
The accessories for the Sony A6700 include a full cage kit, that features an added hinge arm at the battery door, and an HDMI cable clamp to protect against yanking on the cable and offer stable transmission to a video monitor.
The cage is listed with a pre-order sale price of $49.90.

Next comes the more compact half cage with a two-point design for a 1/4-20 screw on the bottom and an M2.5 screw on the side.
The cage also features an Arca Swiss quick-release plate, and has multiple mounting points for 1/4-20” and ARRi 3/8”-16 mounting holes for attaching additional accessories.
The SmallRig Half Cage can be preordered for just under $35.

Meanwhile, SmallRig also offers a base plate for an even more compact form factor.
The A 6700 base plate retails for a preorder price of a hair under $25 and features an Arca-Swiss quick-release plate for fast switching mounting options, an integrated strap slot, and a magnetic flat head screwdriver for easy assembly.
Lastly, there’s the Smallrig Dual Cold Shoe Mount Plate, which offers additional attaching points for microphones and video lights, plus an anti-twist two-point locking design.
Compact and form-fitting, this plate is great for the run-and-gun style of today’s video blogger. The preorder price is just under $15.

ZV-E1 Accessories
Turning our attention towards the Sony ZV-E1, since its announcement in the Spring SmallRig has developed nearly 95 new accessories to outfit the vlog-centric camera platform, the chief of which is the SmallRig Limited Edition Full Size camera cage.
The full-size cage provides protection for the Sony mirrorless camera, as well as offering a 1/4″-20 screw and two side lock adapters.
The HDMI cable clamp protects the port and provides an ergonomic silicon handle for a comfortable grip. Lastly, the Arca-Swiss quick-release plate is included for a quick switch to tripod or stabilizer mode. The preorder price of the 4320 cage is $69.90.
