Canon has announced firmware updates for the EOS R6, EOS R10, and EOS R50 Mirrorless Cameras.
The new firmware features expanded support for recently released RF-mount zoom lenses, plus addresses several minor bugs and issues with a bit of housekeeping.

Canon EOS R6 Firmware v 1.8
Firmware v 1.8 is mostly designed to clean up a few issues with the EOS R6 platform. Chiefly, there was a problem with the R6’s touchscreen which prevented camera operations from triggering in certain rare circumstances, as the screen displayed a [BUSY] message.
The update addresses this issue by enabling changes and images to be captured. There are also several generic “minor issues,” that have also been addressed.

Canon EOS R10 Firmware v 1.4.0
With firmware version 1.4.0, the Canon EOS R10 gains support for Canon’s RF-S mounted 10-18mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM zoom lens.
The 10-18mm APS-C zoom offers a 35mm equivalent of 16-29mm, up to four stops of camera shake correction with in-lens optical image stabilization, one aspherical lens element plus two ultra-low dispersion lens elements, and a 7-bladed aperture.
The update also fixes a few unspecified minor issues.

Canon EOS R50 Firmware v 1.1.0
Canon EOS R50 Firmware v 1.1.0 likewise, adds support for the same RF-S 10-18mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM zoom lens. Moreover, the update adds support for the Canon Software Development Assistant Kit.
The EDSDK/CCAPI software gives third-party developers the tools to create features that connect to Canon technologies. Chiefly, users can control cameras remotely from a Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems, as well as mobile platforms like Android or iOS.
The update also cleans up a few clunky code bugs and fixes some minor performance issues.
