DaVinci Resolve 17.2 Brings Significantly Improved Start-Up Performance and More

The just-released iteration of DaVinci Resolve comes with a plethora of new enhancements and fixes including improved decode performance for 8K H.265 clips on M1 Macs, better color management for Blackmagic RAW Gen 5 color science as well as significantly faster performance when you start up the application.

Furthermore, your latest changes when working in Resolve 17.2 will be automatically saved since the Live save setting is now set to default. Resolve 17.2 also gets ACES color science 1.2 support, ability to update RMD metadata files for R3D clips, custom naming for individual timeline clips, and much more. You can find all details below.
