Savage Stock launched just weeks ago and caught my eye as an exciting new subscription-based platform for royalty-free music and video designed to help creators, indie producers, filmmakers and just about anyone find the right high-end, polished 4K and 8K footage for their projects.
Many of you are familiar with the awesome work of Luke Neumann of Neumann films, who has been creating high-end, high resolution footage for years now – many of you have seen his excellent work with the GH5, RED EPIC and others on his youtube channel and website.
Savage Stock, is not just for high-end stock video though; the platform also offers thematically based music for video sorted in collections. New video collections are expected to be added each week to give you more options to chose from.
4K and 8K material carry the designated 4K and 8K logos to make it easier for users to identify the availability of such material in high resolutions.
Here is a quick walk-though Savage Stock with Luke, where he goes over the different pricing tiers and content you can find on the platform:
Pricing starts at $19.99 a month for the Hobbyist Loyalty level membership, which you can cancel at any time. This level allows you to earn up to 6000 Savage Tokens per month (you can use these tokens to download footage); it also gives you up to 10 HD downloads, and 5 downloads of 4K material.
For those requiring 8K footage, you can move up to the Indie and Studio tiers of membership at $59.99 a month, and $129.99 per month respectively. Annual membership is also available, which also gives you a hefty 25% discount.
