Lens maker Sirui is looking to lure content creators with a trio of low-cost APS-C cinema lenses, which promise to make their content more cinematic and do so for under $500 each.
The prime lenses, which include 24mm, 35mm, and 55mm models, cover Super 35 and APS-C image sensors and a super fast T1.2 aperture.

The NightWalker 24mm has six high-index elements, while the 35mm uses one extra-low dispersion element and one high-index lens element.
The 55mm lens has one ED element and four high-index elements.
The lenses are fully manual in focusing, with a minimum focusing distance of .3-.6m (9.84-19.68 feet).
The lenses have a geared focus ring with a 270-degree angle and step-less aperture rings ranging from T1.2-T16.

All three lenses are similar in size with an 83.7mm length, a 79mm width, and a 67mm filter thread. The lenses weigh in at about 500 grams (1.1 lbs) each.
The lenses are available for Sony E-Mount, Canon RF Mount (which is likely why there’s no autofocus in the design), Fuji X-Mount, and Micro Four-Thirds.
Sirui also states that the lenses have been tested on the Sony FX30, Canon C70, R50, R7, and RED Komodo, while Panasonic Lumix GH6 and Fuji X-T4 should be compatible as well.

Sirui is currently crowdfunding the three-lens set on IndieGoGo, with an early bird price of $899, which is believed to be $100 off the retail price of just under $1,000 (plus VAT and other applicable fees), and includes a soft shell storage case.
Users can also order each lens piecemeal, with an early bird price of $309-349. Users can choose between a black or metal gray finish.
So if you’re looking to take the next step in your gear, by adding some affordable cine lenses, the time may be right to look at the Sirui Nightwalker set of lenses.
The price alone, moreover, makes these new cine lenses tempting.
Sirui’s crowdfunding campaign runs through August 10, 2023, but the company expects to ship orders beginning at the end of July.
